Hot Pepper Jelly

(Delicious with meat or vegetables)

    7 cups sugar
    1-1/2 cups white vinegar
    2 cups ground bell peppers (apx. 5 large ones)
    1 bottle Certo
    5 hot peppers

Remove seeds and veins of peppers. Combine peppers, sugar and vinegar and boil briskly for 3 to 5 minutes. Add Certo and boil another 2 or 3 minutes.

Let cool. Skim and pour into hot sterilized pint jars.
