    2 to 3 pounds of stew meat***
    Salt
    Black pepper
    Garlic powder
    Red pepper
    1 onion
    1 bell pepper
    1 can whole tomatoes
    Carrots
    Potatoes
    1 can whole kernel corn, drained
    Okra

In a large pot, boil stew meat of ham bone with ham chunks, salt (very little if using ham), peppers, garlic powder. If using stew meat about 1 hour or until tender. If using ham bone, about 30-45 minutes.

Add onion, bell pepper, carrots, potato, tomatoes, corn, and okra. Simmer until vegetables are tender. 

Freezes well for leftovers.

*** If you have recently had a whole ham, use the ham bone with large chunks of ham meat.
